Hooray for Vashon!

Thanks to all of you for a successful Fix-It Café LAMPORAMA on Vashon Island!

Vashon Fixers did it again! The first annual Lamp-O-Rama in March, 2022 brought out eleven Fixers supported by five runners and administrators to the Eagles.  Thirty-nine lamps were fixed entirely, saving 250 pounds from the landfill. In addition, nine other lamps were worked on, but parts were needed and/or the person with the lamp will plan to bring to May Fix It. This represents an additional 48 pounds likely rescued from the landfill as the lamp owners have hope for a future fix! Only five lamps were determined unfixable. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and Sabrina’s good cooking. Looking forward to meeting up again in May.
