Fixit Cafe coming up in March

The fall Fix-it Cafe will be Saturday, March 30, from 10 to 2 at the Eagles, 18134 Vashon Hwy.  And it’s free!  Come and bring those broken items to be repaired!  We will have fixers there to help you.  Bring any parts that you know will be needed – that will be a big help.

Bring items small enough to be easily carried in by one person. Do not bring any items that are leaking, dangerous, contain gasoline, or have a strong odor. You must be present while your item is being fixed so you can learn too.

Typical items are lamps, furniture, electronics, vacuums, bicycles, sewing machines, appliances, clothing and tools.  You can still register on this website and indicate what items you will be bringing.  See you there.

The Fixit Cafe is a program of the Vashon Makerspace, and is co-sponsored by Zero Waste Vashon, King County Eco Consumers, the Eagles, and the King County Libraries.
